Editorial Policy
SAND Raiders Wiki separates sourced game facts from editorial interpretation. Because SAND is in Early Access, a useful page must show what version or announcement it reflects and must not present old information as current.
Source Standards
- Primary sources first: official Steam announcements, the Steam store page, the tinyBuild support center, and official developer statements are preferred.
- Direct citations: a specific balance value, item name, server limit, or known issue must link to the announcement or support page that states it.
- Evidence labels: Steam store screenshots are labeled as official promotional images. Community reports are not converted into facts without corroboration.
- No fabricated experience: the site does not invent first-hand testing, screenshots, routes, drop rates, builds, or damage numbers.
- Freshness: core pages show a visible review date. Material changes receive a new date and an updated source record.
Page consolidation
The site previously separated closely related search phrases into many pages. As of July 20, 2026, weaker pages are permanently redirected into a smaller set of core references. We prefer one useful weapon page with dated balance values over several pages that repeat general combat advice.
Corrections
Readers can submit a correction through the contact page or the public GitHub repository. A useful report includes the page URL, the disputed sentence, a primary source, and the date the source was published. Minor spelling fixes may be applied silently; factual corrections should update the page review date.
Independence
This site is independent and is not paid by the developer or publisher to recommend a purchase, build, weapon, or playstyle. Advertising does not determine editorial conclusions. Legal, contact, disclosure, and policy pages do not load the AdSense advertising script.
